Cross Math Calm

Cross Math Calm (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is an arithmetic grid-puzzle game, published by Peidus Products OÜ. This policy explains how the app handles your data. In short: the app is private by design. It needs no account, the puzzles are generated or bundled on your device, and your progress stays there. The only information that leaves your device is anonymous usage analytics and the data needed to process an optional purchase.

Information we do not collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, or location.
• No account, sign-in, or registration is required to use the app.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not use the advertising identifier.

Stored only on your device

Your progress, streaks, scores, and settings are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us, and is permanently removed when you uninstall the app.

Remote configuration

When the app starts, it may fetch a small configuration document (for example, the layout of the welcome screens or the upgrade screen) from our own delivery service. This request contains no personal information — only the app’s identifier and an anonymous placeholder — and the response is cached on your device, so the app keeps working offline. Nothing about you or your play is included.

Anonymous usage analytics

We use PostHog (hosted in the EU) to understand how the app is used so we can improve it. We attach a random identifier generated on your device that is not derived from any device or personal identifier and does not identify you. We record product events such as opening the app, starting and completing a puzzle, using a hint, continuing a streak, viewing the upgrade screen, and completing a purchase, along with coarse, non-identifying device and diagnostic information. We never send puzzle content you can be identified by, and no personal identifiers are collected. See PostHog’s Privacy Policy.

The anonymous profile may include a few non-identifying properties, such as which app in our family you are using and your purchase status (free or premium). We do not use this data for advertising and we do not track you.

Purchases

The app offers an optional premium upgrade. Payment is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and entitlements are managed through our purchases provider, RevenueCat, Inc. To enable and restore purchases, RevenueCat processes:

• an anonymous app-user identifier generated on your device;
• purchase and transaction details and your purchase status;
• basic device and platform information needed to validate the purchase.

This information is used solely to deliver and restore your purchases and premium access. It is never used for advertising. RevenueCat acts as our data processor. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy. Your actual payment details (card, billing information) are handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never see or store them.

Children

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.

Your rights

Because your progress and settings are stored only on your device, you can erase them at any time by deleting the app. For purchase-related data held by RevenueCat, you may request access or deletion by contacting us. Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Our analytics use only anonymous data and are not tied to your identity.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above will reflect any changes.
