Gratitude Journal Lock

These Terms of Use govern your use of Gratitude Journal Lock ("the app"), published by Peidus Products OÜ. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, subject to these terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

Your content

You may write your own gratitude entries in the app. You keep all rights to what you write, and your entries are stored only on your device (see our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for your own content and agree not to use the app for unlawful purposes.

App locking and Screen Time

The app uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) to shield the apps you choose until you complete your daily gratitude moment. You decide which apps to lock and can change or remove your selection, or revoke Screen Time permission, at any time. The feature is a tool to support your own habits; it is not a security control, and we do not guarantee that it cannot be bypassed. You remain responsible for your own device and app usage.

Subscriptions and purchases

The app offers an optional premium subscription. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account. Where a free trial is offered, unused trial time is forfeited if you purchase a subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or attempt to circumvent the intended operation of the app, and not to use it in any way that breaks the law or infringes the rights of others.

Availability

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the app at any time. The core experience is designed to work without an account. Some features (such as analytics and purchases) rely on third-party services and your network connection, and may be unavailable from time to time.

No medical or health claims

The app is a general wellbeing and habit tool. It is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice and is not a substitute for professional care. If you are struggling, please seek help from a qualified professional.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peidus Products OÜ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
