Memory Tin can't see my photos

The app needs photo-library access to show you anything. In iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Memory Tin, choose Full Access. "Limited Access" also works, but then the app can only ever show you the photos you specifically selected — which is usually not what you want for a clean-up.

I deleted a photo by mistake

Open Apple's Photos app → Albums → Recently Deleted. iOS keeps deleted items there for a limited period (usually 30 days) and you can restore from that album. Memory Tin has no copy of your photos and cannot recover anything itself — every deletion goes through Apple's own prompt and straight into your library's Recently Deleted.

Why oldest photos first?

Because that is where the clutter is. Screenshots, receipts, burst shots and duplicates from years ago are the easiest to let go of, and working forward from the oldest gives you a visible finish line instead of an endless scroll. Your streak counts the days you showed up, not the photos you deleted.

Premium, restoring and cancelling

  • Restore a purchase — tap Restore Purchases on the upgrade screen while signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it with.
  • Manage or cancel a subscription — subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us, so they are managed at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions (or iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancelling there stops the next renewal; the current period runs to its end.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue them ourselves, but tell us if something went wrong — we want to know.
  • "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the app, not your own lifetime.

Your data and deleting it

Your review progress, streak and settings live only on your device, and your photos never leave your iPhone at all. There is no account and no server of ours holding your library. Deleting the app removes all of it. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Reporting a bug

Email us with as much of this as you can — it usually saves a round trip:

  • your iPhone or iPad model and iOS version;
  • the app version (Settings, at the bottom);
  • what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead;
  • a screenshot, if it helps show it.
