Alarm Clock: Wake Up Challenge

Last updated · 25 July 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of Alarm Clock: Wake Up Challenge (also known as morningOS; “the app”), a gentle alarm clock and morning-routine companion, published by Peidus Products OÜ. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, subject to these terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

Purchases

The core morning experience is free. The app offers an optional Plus upgrade, which may be available as a subscription or a one-time purchase. Purchases are billed through your Apple App Store account. Where a subscription is offered, it renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; where a free trial is offered, unused trial time is forfeited if you purchase. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region.

Alarms and reliance

The app sets alarms and notifications using the facilities your device provides. Whether an alarm actually sounds depends on things outside our control — your device being powered on and functioning, its volume, Focus and notification settings, permissions you have granted, low-power or storage conditions, and operating-system behaviour. Do not rely on the app alone where missing a wake-up would have serious consequences. Keep a second alarm for anything critical. Optional smart wake and sleep tracking are estimates, not measurements, and may wake you earlier or later than a fixed alarm would.

Not medical advice

The app is a wellbeing and routine tool, not a medical device. Sleep summaries, readiness signals and any information derived from Apple Health are provided for general interest only and must not be used to diagnose, treat or monitor any condition, or to make decisions about your health. Consult a qualified professional for medical advice.

Your content and your data

Your alarms, rituals, reflections and morning archive remain yours. They are stored on your device and, if you enable it, in your own private iCloud — we neither receive nor claim any rights in them, and we are not a backup service. Keeping your own backups (for example through iCloud or an encrypted device backup) is your responsibility. If you use the optional wake-buddy feature, you are choosing to share a small amount of information with a person you select, and you are responsible for who you invite. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or attempt to circumvent the intended operation of the app, and not to use it in any way that breaks the law or infringes the rights of others.

Availability

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the app at any time. The core experience is designed to work offline without an account. Some features — weather and sunrise, iCloud sync, wake-buddy sharing, purchases, and remotely delivered screens — rely on third-party services and your network connection, and may be unavailable from time to time.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peidus Products OÜ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any loss arising from a missed, delayed or unheard alarm. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
